November 20, 2001 - Hearing on 2002 budget, Adoption of 2002 budget, roundabout was moved forward one more step

November 12, 2001 - Permission to use single health insurance provider

November 6, 2001 - Presentation on CVB, change in senior staff's contribution to health insurance

October 16, 2001 - Adopted Emergency Management Manual

October 2, 2001 - Approved Covenant/Netzow Medical Buildings, Rezoned land around Brookfield Square Mall, Creation of Community Development Authority (CDA), restricted operation of mini-bikes & go carts

September 18, 2001 - Hearings on Ruby Farms rezoning proposal, Moment of Silence for 9/11 Attacks, Statement of Support for the President regarding terrorist attacks, Tabled consideration of restrictions on mini-bikes

August 21, 2001 - Removed restrictions on dentist office size, authorized construction of water mains on Bolter/Midland/Buena Vista, awarded bid for Lamplighter Pond reconstruction, authorized purchase of frequently flooded houses on Lilly Road, adopted new voting district map

July 30, 2001- Authorized water main projects - a 10 minute meeting!

July 17, 2001 - Presentation and approval of Calhoun Road South Neighborhood Plan

June 28, 2001 - Authorized Pilgrim Road water main - a 2 minute meeting!

June 19, 2001 - Approved reduction of deer herd

June 5, 2001 - Dan Tushaus selected as Chief of Police, presentation of Deer Task Force report, presentation of report on using Lake Michigan water in city, approved alderman pay raise, approved road transfer to county

May 15, 2001 - Toughened up the sign code, approved alderman pay raise, created Chief of Staff position and made appointment, hired Director of Human Resources, tabled road transfer to county

May 1, 2001 - Approved mosquito control program, discussed plans for Calhoun Road South neighborhood

April 17, 2001 - Proclaimed April 27 as Arbor Day

April 3, 2001 - Discussion of changes to aldermanic term in office

March 20, 2001 - Approved leases for cell phone towers, bought police cars

March 6, 2001 - Approval of permits for indoor soccer park, approved leases for cell towers, accepted grant to build roundabout, Greenway Corridor committee formed

February 20, 2001 - Fire Chief John Dahms sworn in, approved Ameritech building expansion on Blue Mound Rd., authorized construction of pump house on Brookfield Rd.

February 6, 2001 - Approved study of consolidation with Town of Brookfield

January 16, 2001 - Public hearing on Moorland Road node rezoning

December 19, 2000 - Approved televising the sewers

December 5, 2000 - Lots of salary and benefits approvals, commendation to Art Zabel and Mike Franz on their retirement

November 21, 2000 - Hearing on 2001 budget, Adoption of 2001 budget, raised the sewer rates

November 16, 2000 - Presentation on Calhoun Road South plan

October 3, 2000 - Interim Police Chief Dan Tushaus sworn in, approved yet another exception to building height

September 28, 2000 - Set negotiating limits for purchasing some land

September 19, 2000 - Hearing on proposal for Storm's Golf Course on Blue Mound Rd., Commendation on retiring Police Chief Jacobs

September 5, 2000 - Selected insurance carrier - a 5 minute meeting!

August 15, 2000 - Approved permits for Brookfield Elementary and Dixon Elementary, set "Trick or Treat Day" as a Tuesday

July 18, 2000 - Final approval for Norhardt Crossing, approved plan for developing corner of Capitol Dr. and Calhoun Rd., approved placement of gas pipeline through Mitchell Park for a huge fee

June 20, 2000 - Approved purchase of GIS for city maps, purchased houses to be torn down for new Brookfield Elementary school and traded them for Endicott Park

June 6, 2000 - Approved ground lease for Wilson Center for the Arts, hired Director of Information Technology, buried power lines around future Towne Center, discussed land swap with school district

May 16, 2000 - Brookfield Academy athletic fields, Brookfield road municipal well site, PDD for corner of Moorland Road & Bluemound Road, Approved engineering study that eventually recommended the Barker Road - North Avenue roundabout, Discussed city's role in Wilson Center for the Arts

May 2, 2000 - Appointed committees, Killed mosquitoes, Debated strategic plan
